How Does it work?
All you need is a broadband Internet connection. Using remote access technology, we can connect to your system no matter where you are to provide professional help, support and advice.
By controlling your keyboard and mouse we can provide an immediate response to the majority of problems; and if a problem cannot be solved remotely, we will either come to you or arrange a collection.
Why do I need it?
In an office there is quite often someone who has a certain amount of IT knowledge, or you may have a support contract in place for those difficult times; at home you are on your own.
Once connected, we can see the errors and rectify problems as if we were physically on site so you don't need to be able to understand or explain the problem.
The helpdesk also serves as an advice line so you can get answers to those common question such as, "How do I... in Excel?" and "Can I turn this document into a PDF?".
Homeworker Support saves you time and money and allows you to concentrate on the job you're supposed to be doing.
How much does it cost?
We don't charge extra for printers, scanners and other parts - we class a workstation as the PC and everything attached to it.
Cover for a single workstation is just £10 per month. If you are extending an existing Remote IT Support contract to your homeworkers then this may be less as the cost reduces as the number of workstations increases.
