For some organisations the Cloud is obviously the best IT solution. We mean those organisations where there are many remote workers, and there is a crucial need for security. However, in many other organisations it may be less obvious that Cloud could be a good IT solution. So, here are some telltale signs that we've put together in order to tell whether your organisation may be better off on the Cultrix Cloud.
All your equipment needs upgrading
Equipment ages, and computers need replacing after a few years. This can be a very expensive outlay. With the Cultrix Cloud, your old machines could be replaced by much cheaper hardware. You could even recycle your old equipment, using it as access points to the Cloud.
Not only does this mean that your hardware will have a longer lifecycle, it also means that your software is always up to date. Furthermore, your system can be upgraded in minutes, adding more memory, storage and processing power whenever required, without the need to buy new hardware, and you only pay for what you use.
Your organisation has some remote workers
If employees of your organisation often telecommute, or work in remote locations, whilst there are many benefits to having remote workers, the situation does present some security issues. One example is the risk of storing corporate data on portable machines that could be lost or stolen. With the Cultrix Cloud, remote workers' documents and desktop are stored in the Cloud, not on the device. So, if a remote worker's laptop is stolen, sensitive corporate data cannot be accessed.
You're worried about security
One of the Cultrix Cloud's biggest benefits is security. The risk of data leaks is reduced as all your organisation's data would be stored in the Cultrix Cloud, which in turn is stored in our UK-based data centre. (You can even visit it if you'd like to!)
Such security reduces the risk of data leaks arising from losing memory sticks or having hardware stolen, for example. In the UK, a company can be fined by the ICO for data breaches, particularly if this data (about employees or customers) contains sensitive information, such as financial information and/or contact details.
And, still on the issue of security, antivirus is centrally managed, always on and always up to date. This comes as standard when you're on the Cultrix Cloud, with spam and web content filtering also available so that you can protect people in your organisation from inappropriate content available online.
If any of these telltale signs ring true, and the Cultrix Cloud sounds like it might be the best IT solution for your organisation, please get in touch with us. You can either call or email Dawn on 01226 736673 or dawn@cultrix.co.uk. Dawn will be happy to help you. But, if that doesn't suit you, you can request a callback here and we'll contact you.
