Endpoint protection (included in Support + Shield and Guardian)
Antivirus
Next Generation Anti-Virus (NGAV) combines AI and machine learning to spot threats that traditional antivirus would miss. Integration with cloud based global threat intelligence ensures that the system has the latest information to detect and repel attacks more quickly and efficiently. This is the first line of defence.
DNS Filtering
Block websites based on parameters like security or content, and also block specific sites. Security blocks help to prevent access to sites that may distribute malware, gather data for phishing attacks or spam. Content blocks stop users accessing sites that may contain illegal content or be inappropriate like gambling or social networks.
Ransomware protection
Detect ransomware before it has chance to spread. Ransomware protection constantly scans your network environment to look for changes to files that may indicate an attack, if found the device is isolated from the rest of the network, then the devices can be rolled back to a point before the incursion or just restore the compromised files. It uses behavioural analysis which helps to detect breaches much earlier than traditional antivirus platforms.
Endpoint Threat Detection and Response (ETDR/EDR)
No preventative measure is 100% secure, this is where EDR comes in - it scans your network 24/7 for anything that has broken through the perimeter. It uses sophisticated behavioural analysis to look for unusual activity that may not be detected in more traditional file- watching security.
VOIP Phone/Mobile/Tablet Management and Support (one of each per endpoint)
These devices are chargeable on the base level package but on Shield + Support you get one of each per laptop/desktop.
Security Policy Management and Support
Reviewing and implementing policies such as Intune and Conditional Access.
