Is there no end to our inspiration for creating useful content? Here we are, with our third blog on ideas for writing your business blogs. Never be stuck for content ideas again.

Yet more ideas for your business blogs

Even if you’ve been writing blogs for your business for a while, it’s easy to run out of ideas. But often, it’s just a different angle you need, or another way to present the benefits of your products and services and yourself as an expert in your field.

And don’t be afraid to get technical either about your products, it shows you know what you’re talking about and the industry you operate within.

Correlation and causation blogs

Very similar to addressing the problems you potential customers may have, and need you to fix, correlation and causation articles are similar, but are a different type of question.

For example:

  • If I buy a Chromebook, does it mean I can’t use Office
  • Are memory foam mattresses bad for my back?

These types of blogs home in on very specific dilemmas and anxieties potential customers may have when considering whether to buy from you and are a good way to address them and alleviate concern.

Classifications and types blogs

You may take it for granted that there are three types of composite wood fencing, all priced differently and all with varying benefits and drawbacks. To someone wanting to know everything there is to know about the types of composite wood fencing, this would be the perfect blog!

Similar to comparison blogs, but definitely setting out the facts of each product type, this is an easy way to give browsers the information they’re looking for.

For example:

  • 7 types of English blueberries
  • The three extraction methods for science classrooms
  • 5 types of blogs you can write for your business

Laws and legal requirement blogs

Are there any laws or legal requirements relating to your products? If there are, your customers may be very glad to know about them. For belt and braces authority, try if you can to include a link to the official online source of your information, which gives your reader further, helpful information.

For example:

  • What are the rules for businesses of GDPR
  • What qualifications should your therapist have?
  • By law, should I have certificates for electrical work?

Timeline blogs

You’ve probably not thought about it, but how many times do your customers ask you about time? This is an easy blog win.

For example:

  • How long will it take to build my new website
  • When is the best time to start a building extension?
  • How long does it take for paint to dry?

Ideas and trend blogs

Give your customers food for thought by inspiring them. What are the trends around your products at the moment? What are other customers doing because of how you’ve enabled them? What are the possibilities?

These types of blogs can be quite wide-ranging, but don’t be afraid to look at the wider implications of the products and services you provide.

For example:

  • 5 fizzing cocktails everyone’s making right now
  • Why everyone’s wearing trainers to work these days
  • The best casserole dishes for use on induction hobs

Remember – it’s all about answering your customers’ questions

What all these types of blogs have in common is that they are, in different ways, answering the queries, and alleviating the anxieties, your customers and potential customers may have. They just want you to put their minds at ease – blog writing can help you do that.

Happy blog writing!
